Are you tired of copying the code from authorization SMS when entering instructions? Switch to easy confirmation of payments and other instructions in the mobile application.

How does it work?

Using push notifications is:

  • quick and easy,
  • comfortable and safe.


1. You enter an instruction in Internetbanking (or payment by card on the Internet).
2. The push notification "You have a transaction / instructions for authorization" will pop up on your mobile, which will take you to Smartbanking.
3. Log in to the mobile application (with password, fingerprint or look at the phone / Face ID), check the details of the instruction or payment and easily click to confirm. If you are already logged in, you will see the authorization instruction and you can confirm it immediately.

If you have Smartbanking and want to save time, you can activate login or fingerprint authorization or authorization by scanning the face (Face ID) in the Application settings (More »Smartbanking - Settings» Use fingerprint / face unlock). If you do not already use this option neither for other applications, you must first add a fingerprint or a face scan in your phone's settings.

 

Authorization of instructions submitted from Internetbanking

1. Click at "More" in the bottom right corner.
2. Select option Settings in the section Smartbanking.
3. Select Orders from Internetbanking for Payment Authorization.
4. Then select Mobile Application.
5. Finally, save the update of instructions.

Note: To set up push notifications for instructions entered from IB, it is necessary to have Smartbanking with version of at least 2.2.3 for Android and 2.3.1 for iOS (and later).

 

Authorization of card payments on the Internet

1. Click at "More" at the bottom right corner.
2. Select option Settings in the section Smartbanking.
3. Select Payments on the Internet (3D Secure) for Payment Authorization.
4. Then select Mobile Application.
5. Finally, save the update of instructions.

 

Note: To set up push notifications for instructions entered from IB, it is necessary to have Smartbanking with version of at least 2.1.3 for Android and 2.1.1 for iOS (and later).

Authorization of instructions submitted from Internetbanking

1. Open Settings in the upper right corner.
2. Select the Security section on the page that appears.
3. When selecting Authorization of orders submitted from Internetbanking, click on Change button.
4. Select Mobile Application from the drop-down menu and click on Send button.

If you do not see the "change" option in your settings when authorizing instructions, you are probably not using the current version of Fio Smartbanking - to set push notifications for IB instructions, it is necessary to have Smartbanking with version of at least 2.2.3. for Android and 2.3.1 for iOS (and later). Authorization of card payments on the Internet

1. Select Payment Cards and then Overview of Payment cards from the main menu.
2. Click on the Detail of your card.
3. In the Settings of the card click on the Change button for Authorization type.
4. Change the Authorization Type (via the mobile application) and click on Send.
